For the opening song we have “Take Me with You (When You Go)”, and we can say that this is a very dynamic song where Moreland’s outstanding rhythm work can’t be dismissed. One of the songs with the most depth in it is the murder ballad “Hannah“, written by Mike Hosty, where a murderer falls in to madness after killing his lover. You also should not miss the track “Long Way Home”, “When The Lights Are Burning Low” or “I’m a King Bee”. This songs show what blues rock hybrids are about. In Promised Land or Bust you will hear everything, from country’s southern feel and modern blues to rock and electric amplification.
Moreland and Arbuckle made an amazing story with “Promised Land or Bust“, maybe the stories are all about the unfortunate events, but the music that describes them gives them so much heart and soul.
