Lazer Lloyd’s music makes people feel good
Born in New York, and raised in Madison Connecticut like Eliezer Blumen, Lazer Lloyd went far from his frontiers and became the most popular blues singer/songwriters and guitarists in Israel. Lazer has successfully crossed over into the Israeli mainstream music scene, and has been featured playing live on some of Israeli TV and radio’s most popular programs.
Lazer hopes that his music can help release some pain from someone’s heart, make them feel good. In 2014 and 2015, in between his Israeli tours and producing an all new electric album, Lazer brought his music to the North American mainstream music venues like Biscuits and Blues, Rosa’s Lounge, Chicago’s House of Blues, Cadillac Lounge and Violet’s Venue in Ontario as well as performing arts centers and synagogues in a path stretching straight across the country. His shows have generated new fans everywhere who came to see Israel’s King of the Blues joined together with great North American blues musicians and left excited by the performance.
In June 2015, Lazer Lloyd released a new self titled electric album “Lazer Lloyd” recorded entirely in Israel on his own Chicago based label “LL Records” which he runs with his business partner and manager, Yocheved “Yo” Seidman, with cover design by acclaimed Chicago artist Markus Greiner. The album is packed with 11 new original songs and a cover of Otis Redding’s “(Sittin’ on the) Dock of the Bay.” He also used a wide array of guitars to get specific sounds he wanted in each of the songs.
